About the event
Do you ever feel stuck, or like you’ve hit a ceiling with the tools you’re currently using with clients?
Are you struggling to cultivate deeper awareness or move conversations beyond intellectual insight into meaningful action?
Have you reached a point where conversations stay on the surface, and real breakthroughs feel just out of reach?
This workshop invites you to expand your one-on-one coaching approach through the power of play.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the principles of play-based experiential learning and its application in coaching
Explore how games and facilitated activities can support individual and group coaching outcomes
Learn strategies for connecting play-based experiences to reflection, insight, and action
Identify opportunities to incorporate experiential methods into their existing coaching approach
In this half-day experience, we’ll explore how play-based and experiential activities can help coaches uncover deeper insights by moving beyond self-reporting and into real-time observation. Through facilitated experiences, coaches gain a window into how clients communicate, make decisions, navigate uncertainty, respond to challenges, and engage with others in the moment.
As an evidence-informed coaching tool, play creates opportunities for heightened self-awareness, reflection, experimentation, and learning. It offers clients a low-risk environment to surface patterns, assumptions, and behaviors that may otherwise remain hidden in traditional conversation-based coaching.
Together, we’ll explore how games and experiential activities can be used to:
Illuminate communication and information-processing styles.
Uncover attitudes toward risk, change, and decision-making.
Explore values, priorities, and leadership tendencies.
Create opportunities to experiment with new behaviors and perspectives.
Deepen engagement and accelerate insight within the coaching process.
By the end of the session, participants will leave with practical tools and activities they can immediately incorporate into their coaching practice to foster deeper client engagement, insight, and sustainable growth.
