Our Play Partner training is an advisor-led program that builds a robust body of work using play-based methods. By completing the required credits, you become an official Barometer XP partner who is licensed to leverage our resources in the training of other practitioners.

PARTNER FAQ
Why do I need an expert license? -- Expertise ultimately comes from dedicated practice and reflection. In order to ensure high quality training experiences with our content, we designed the partner program as a way for practitioners to showcase their style and experience when delivering play-based learning events. Whether you're leading your own training, designing your own games, or co-facilitating with us, we want to help you shine.

Can I skip the Ambassador Workshop and Facilitation Cohort? -- It's possible! We created the offerings mostly to scaffold a learning journey. If you feel confident that this is the place to start, contact us and we'll discuss next steps for the Partner License track.

How should I choose credit types? -- Up to you! We encourage you to piece together a plan that aligns with your future training vision. If you feel you need more practice with training style, shorter exhibitions and Ambassador workshop environments are best to iterate. If you seek longer form delivery and marketing, try supporting a few Facilitator cohorts.

What kind of support do I get afterward? -- You will join a small circle of peers who share best practices and opportunities to succeed together. Our core Barometer XP team will prioritize availability if you have any questions or capacity needs.

Who are the advisors? -- Currently, this is the Barometer XP lead trainer, Peter Williamson. Over time, other licensed trainers will support as well.

Do you offer discounts or referrals? -- Indeed! Licensed Partners receive a 10% kickback for each referral that earns their own license, as well as a 20% kickback for referrals who complete a Facilitator cohort.

Are there ongoing fees? -- TBD. We're still building level 3 and gauging its scalability. For now, licenses are 1-time costs. In the future, we plan on asking experts to contribute a nominal amount to maintain our growing resources.
