LEADER FAQ
How much do I need to know about play or games? -- No experience required. We just ask you show up with an open mind and willingness to play.

How much facilitation experience should I have? -- None required, but some awareness of best practices may be helpful to scaffold takeaways. We designed our training to accommodate a wide range of expertise and have materials to support less experienced participants.

Do you offer private workshops? -- Yes, we can deliver trainings to groups of 6+ people (i.e. team, department, network). Contact us today to for more details, scheduling options, and scalable pricing.

What went into the development of this workshop? -- After leading 15+ peer cohorts (facilitator certification), we saw an opportunity to make a more accessible and thematic experience for anyone curious about implementing play and playfulness intentionally.

Is it truly pay what you can? -- Indeed! While we hope people are willing to support our work financially, accessibility is a core value. If you're inspired by the experience, we invite you to play with us more and connect us to prospective new colleagues or clients.

Why are the offerings in a linear timeline? -- In a world where a professional knew nothing about play or how to facilitate it, we created a series of trainings that could work in succession if someone was interested. However, we recognize that everyone brings a different experience to the table, so think of it more like a choose your own adventure! The only training with a pre-requisite is the Partner License. We encourage prospective experts to join a cohort in order to understand the graduating credits.

Do I have to continue to the Facilitator Certification? -- Nope! This is a standalone experience and may be enough for what you need. We always encourage people to sign up for a peer cohort if you seek refined play facilitation skills to lead games in house or with clients.
